Introducing
the 2006 Ford Mustang
The 2006 Ford Mustang is Ford’s sports car symbol that first debuted in
1964 and a half, which created a new market segment that became known as
"Pony Cars." The Ford Mustang was redesigned in 2005 and while it is
immediately recognizable as a Mustang, it now offers thoroughly modern
performance with powerful engines, advanced MacPherson struts, and a
three-link live axle with Panhard rod rear suspension for the
rear-wheel-drive platform. The new mustang strongly resembles the
mustang fastbacks of the late 1960's, maybe 1968 or 1969 even more. The
standard Mustang is powered by a 210-horsepower 4.0-liter V6 engine, and
the Mustang GT is powered by a new 300-horsepower 4.6-liter V8.
The GT engine can really produce some great power, just add some Mustang Body Kits!
New for 2006 Ford Mustang's
The 2006 Ford Mustang builds on the 2005 Mustang with a Pony Package for
the Mustang V6 with GT-inspired suspension, bigger wheels and tires,
ABS, traction control, a custom grille with the addition of fog lights,
and Pony emblems. Two new colors are added for 2006 also: Vista Blue
Clearcoat Metallic and Tungsten Grey Clearcoat Metallic, which was first
shown on the 2004 Mustang at the North American International Auto Show.
Looking to track your 2006 stang? Then look into upgrading your suspension with a set of Mustang caster camber plates and a set of stiffer springs.
